So I brought my vehicle over there to see if they could repair the scratch and match my complex, 3-layered, pearl-colored paint to exact specifications (something the dealership could not promise). When I asked for an estimate, it was 1/2 that of the other autobody shops that I had previously visited. So I scheduled an appointment for the very next morning.
To my surprise, I got a call later that same afternoon telling me my car would be ready the next day anytime I wanted to pick it up. When I arrived, not only did the color match perfectly, but the car was cleaned to shine both inside and out. As for the estimate he had given us, the actual bill turned out to be even less than he quoted. I saved nearly $900! WOW, that’s how a business should be run! “I had acquired a few dents and scratches on my brand new Tundra over the first few years, and was unwilling to cough up the big money that many auto body shops were asking. I did not see the need to pay over $1000 to repair a scratch that to the naked eye, most people could not even see. Finally, after several more dings and dents, I had seen enough damage to the truck, and I began researching possible options. My first stop led me to an auto body shop on the Cape which I had used before when going through my insurance company. However, this time I was paying out of pocket, and the estimate was through the roof. I told the evaluator to ‘just stop. You have already gone too far for what I am willing to pay.’ I found MicroBlend of Plymouth online, and the name itself sounded like it could be just the perfect fit for what I was looking for. After reading a few positive referrals, I stopped by to get an estimate.
When I entered the business, I was greeted by Dennis the owner, who couldn’t have been more friendly and honest as to his approach to the business. After a quick walk around the truck, I was ready to cover my ears in preparation for the grand total of damage…. HOWEVER, to my pleasant surprise, the quote Dennis gave me was far, far, far below what I had been given at previous auto body shops. I asked Dennis when he could begin the work…and he said immediately. I received my truck back within that same week.
After careful inspection of the work that had been done, I can honestly say that I would NEVER be able to tell that anything had ever happened to my truck. I was amazed. The work that was done far exceeded my expectations, and the savings that MicroBlend of Plymouth gave me was for the record books.
That very evening after picking up my truck, I brought it over to a friend’s house who had previously worked in the auto body shop where I had received my initial quote. He wanted to know where I got this work done, as he was very impressed himself as to the quality and the value of the work I had done.
